    Had to stop listening at “20 years ago, everybody who used software also wrote software…”

    Great show – I’m always fighting to meet users of my software to see how they actually interact with it (in an effort to make it as intuitive as possible). Frustratingly, it’s hard to persuade the powers that be that this is a good idea :-(

    One aside, over here in the UK (in fact this may apply to all of Europe) very few people drive automatics. We all drive “stick shifts” – it’s pretty unusual not to!
