Album of the Week: Living Proof by Buddy Guy

Every once in a while I come across new music that I have to share.  image This week it is Living Proof by Buddy Guy. This incredible album won the Album of the Year from the prestigious Blues Music Awards (formerly the W.C. Handy Awards).

My favorite cut is Thank Me Someday – it is everything a Blues song should be.

I found this album as follows:  I was listening to one of my favorite albums, Louis Armstrong Plays W. C. Handy, which lead me to look at more by Armstrong and more by Handy. I then discovered the Handy Awards, and from there found this album.  What a find!
