About the New Site
Moving a blog from one host to another is never trivial, easy or without surprises. Over the next few days and weeks I’ll be fixing up here, and I very much look forward to your feedback about the new site.
Personal Perspective
As “Silverlight Geek” and “Community Program Manager” it is my job to build and maintain your satisfaction with programming Silverlight in every way I can. This position has allowed me to build on two decades experience as a programmer, teacher and author to create code, presentations, and content directed at professional programmers including videos, tutorials and most important lately mini-tutorials and now the Silverlight HVP
I’m also part of an incredible team that includes some of the best and brightest people at Microsoft.
I love this job. I’ve met more interesting people, learned more and had more fun doing it than I have any right to expect in these times. I am deeply grateful.
I work from home in the Cambridge/Boston area but I go to Redmond frequently to check in with the team and the first thing they always ask is “what are you hearing in the community?” — so be sure to let me know what you think because the folks writing the code want to know and I’ll do my best to be a faithful reporter.
Specific feature questions are often answered faster in the forums, but don’t hesitate to contact me:
