Dependent Methods in Kendo: A Practical Example

On May 10, Noel Rice of Falafel wrote a wonderful blog piece entitled Books with AuthorsDependent Methods (calculated fields) – a hidden goody in Kendo UI

It wasn’t two weeks later that I had occasion to put this to use for a client.

This blog post will walk through this real-world example.  I’ve changed it only enough to disguise the client.
